April We Bloom!

Welcome to April's theme 'Bloom'! March saw a lot of stuff coming to the surface. When asked to focus on one dream, many found that very hard to do. But a start was made and I'm hoping people will continue to hold their dream in front of them.

This month I'm asking you not to focus intensely on a dream, but on you and your truth. Generally, your truth is linked with passion and so if you are unsure of what your truth is, ask yourself 'What am I passionate about?'

Your Journal

Now, you can start a new journal for April or just a new page, it's up to you. This month focus and work towards this area to bloom. You can journal each step you take, how you feel each day, your struggles, your triumphs, paste images and photos, positive quotes, etc. Fill your journal with so much goodness that's related to this one area you're going to bloom in.

So now for the prompts. You have a whole month to focus on these. I will also add more in the group as we progress through April.

Journaling Prompts

What is your truth? What are your passions? You don't have to be good at it, you just have to feel strongly about it.

Okay, so with that in mind, what is the one thing you can work on this month to move closer towards living to your fullest potential? What is that one thing you've always wanted to do? It could be apply for that job, start a blog, start a course, sign up to a workshop, take that trip abroad, write that book, etc.

It doesn't have to be big and it will, more than likely, involve facing a fear, but it does have to be something you've wanted to do for a long time. It can be taking a small step towards that thing. For example, if it's a course you've always wanted to take, your step can be researching the places available to take it and seriously working out how you can fit it into your life. It might mean making sacrifices, it might not.

Please ignore that voice that tells you to be realistic. You are being realistic by making it happen no matter what!

In Closing

There is one vital thing I need to discuss that is deeply personal to me. For some, to live your truth can mean having to deal with some very real and very serious consequences. We think in the West we have freedom. However, due to very limited thinking, many people are held in a prison of their own making. Not content with being in said prison themselves, and because of fear (a result of limited thinking) they control loved ones to stay with them. You can be born into it, married into it, or join a group with this mind set. When you desire to fully be yourself and/or leave, those people, whether they love you or not, will put up great resistance to your leaving. If this is the case with you, then I would add go and find the relevant support group. There is so much help and support out there today. You are never alone!

Below is an image you are free to print out for your journal or use as a journal card. If you want to, and only if you want to, please share your journey in the Facebook group.

See you there!!
